Is statpx really free?
Yes. The core analytics — unlimited pageviews tracking, real-time dashboard, traffic sources, goals, funnels, custom events, and more — is free to use. If paid plans are introduced later, the features you rely on today will remain available, and we'll give at least 30 days' notice of any change.
Does statpx use cookies?
No. The statpx tracking script sets no cookies on your visitors' browsers. It uses a privacy-friendly, cookieless method to count visits, which means you generally do not need a cookie-consent banner for statpx itself. Always confirm your obligations with your own legal counsel.
Is statpx GDPR / privacy compliant?
statpx is built privacy-first: no cookies, no cross-site tracking, no collection of personally identifiable information from your visitors, and IP addresses are used only for coarse geolocation and never stored in full. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I install the tracking snippet?

Why are statpx's numbers different from Google Analytics?
Most analytics tools differ because of how they filter bots, handle ad blockers, and define a "session." statpx applies a 3-layer bot filter (user-agent, request-rate, and known crawler IP ranges) and is less affected by ad blockers than GA. The result is usually a cleaner, more accurate count of real human visitors.
Can I track custom events and conversions?
Yes. Use the _st('event', 'name', 'category') JavaScript API to track button clicks, form submissions, video plays, downloads, and outbound links. You can then define goals (URL or event match) and build multi-step funnels to measure conversion drop-off. E-commerce revenue tracking is supported too.
Can I give my team access?
Yes. Invite teammates by email to view a site's stats. You can invite people to multiple sites at once, and invitees who don't have an account yet can register and then accept the invitation.
Is there an API?
Yes. statpx offers a REST API with Bearer-token authentication for programmatic access to your sites, summary stats, pageview time series, raw hits, and events. Create API keys from your account settings.
How long is my data kept?
Raw hit-level data is kept according to each site's configurable retention setting (default 365 days). Daily summary numbers are kept indefinitely, so your long-term charts and totals always stay intact.
Will the tracking script slow down my site?
No. The script is lightweight, loads asynchronously, and does its work in the background. It will not block your page from rendering or hurt your Core Web Vitals — in fact statpx can measure your LCP, CLS, and INP for you.
How do I confirm tracking is working?
After adding the snippet, use the "Verify Installation" button on the site's snippet page — statpx fetches your page and confirms the snippet is present. Your site is also auto-verified the moment the first real (non-bot) pageview arrives.
